Wakari School reached out to Dunedin Solar as part of an environmental initiative they had to reduce the carbon footprint of the school and become more self reliant on power. Solar was the obvious choice for them so the next step was figuring out exactly how much they needed to reach their goals. With 100 panels spread across 3 roof aspects, they are not only now generating their own power, but have an opportunity to teach the students about sustainable living and renewable energy.
Panels:
100 x Hyundai MF-FB 435W
Inverters:
1 x Fronius Tauro Eco 50kW
System size:
43.5kW
