From initial quote, throughout the installation and then post install follow up, the Dunedin Solar team have been amazing. We only got one quote and it was from them. Decided to go ahead based on reputation and without a doubt it was the right decision. Kept us constantly in the loop during the install and completed the job using quality fixtures and fittings, were tidy, on time but didn't rush. The end result is an amazing setup that so, far has exceeded their comprehensive pre purchase forecasts. Sure you MIGHT shop around and save maybe a few dollars but if you value quality and experience then my recommendation is forget the rest imo Dunedin Solar are THE best. George, Dunedin.

James and his team were excellent to work with (especially Lissy). They explained how solar would work for us, including costing options, using pretty impressive software so we could really get an idea of how it would look and function. We had been considering installing Solar Panels for some time as our power accounts were becoming excessive so I contacted some providers including Dunedin Solar to obtain a quote. Of the three firms who provided me with a quote the one from Dunedin Solar was the most competitive. Factors that I considered were the initial on site visit, the time it took for the quote to be prepared, the quality of the panels and the inverter, the product and workmanship warranties along with the responses to my many questions. I was impressed with the comprehensive yet easily understood nature of responses to my questions some of which required analysis of different installation scenarios. The installation went smoothly and I was kept up to date with the process right up to it becoming operational. James, Laura and their team were great to deal with and while I have had only 1 power account since the system has been operating, indications are that the electricity generation by the solar panels is in line with the proposal prepared by Dunedin Solar. I am looking forward to a significant reduction in my power accounts. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Dunedin Solar to anyone considering converting to Solar power.

These guys are awesome - From the moment we sat down with James to just learn a bit more about Solar, we knew we were talking with an expert. He wasn't trying to sell us anything - just educating us, but of course we got him to do a proposal. I spent ages analyzing our past consumption, and modeling the effect of battery etc at different times of the year, and was confident that we couldn't get a cheaper power plan if we decided to stick it out and just use the Grid. The solar plans had a higher per unit and per day cost, but modeling showed it may be worth it, so after going back for more info from the team, and even getting James back up again to fill in the blanks in my understanding, and after some careful consideration we finally opted to invest. The team arrived in December, just in time to get us going for what should be the best value month - the model show the most generation from Solar for us is in January. January's bill only covered 3 weeks of solar (and had meter costs etc on it), but was still looking pretty good. We've had a few bad days since then, but I write this on the 14th Feb, just one month later, and I've just received the first 'true' solar supported power bill (from same provider, but on a solar plan). And to say I'm happy would be an understatement! Same period last year cost us $421.08, and the bill I got today is going to set me back the princely sum of $25.98. It's obviously early days, and I'm sure June's bill (last year $536) is not going to see anywhere near the same reduction, but every little bit helps. If you're not sure about Solar, you won't find a better team than Dunedin Solar to help you figure it out.
