General Manager - Wanaka

  • Deliver the branch KPIs agreed with the Think Solar Group
  • Help set strategy and turn it into action
  • Improve how the business runs day to day
  • Responsible for the branch financial results (budget, sales, margins)
  • Manage cashflow, costs, debtors and creditors
  • Drive sales and find new business opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and partners
  • Represent Think Solar in the local market and industry
  • Make sure customer enquiries are handled quickly and professionally
  • Act on customer feedback and fix issues
  • Oversee projects from sale through to completion
  • Keep projects flowing smoothly (scheduling, people, materials)
  • Lead, support and develop the team
  • Create a positive, accountable, high-performance culture
  • Recruit, onboard and train staff
  • Hold regular team meetings and one-on-ones
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are followed at all times
Experience And Qualifications
  • Proven experience in general management, operations management or senior leadership roles
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen, including budget and performance accountability
  • Ideally exposure to the solar or renewable energy sector (but not essential)
