It’s great that your interested in the Tesla Powerwall, to provide you with a proposal and pricing the next step is to provide a little more information, don’t worry if you can’t complete every section, just fill in as much as you can. For the installation of the Powerwall system, we will need to connect into your switchboard. Please upload a photo of your switchboard, with the doors open so we can see the circuit breakers. Please also upload a photo of the switchboard and surrounding area.

The Tesla Gateway is the central part of the Powerwall system. This component allows you to be off grid in an outage, as it isolates the grid from your electrical system. The Gateway Dimensions are: H=660mm, W=411mm, D=149mm. The Gateway is best positioned close to the switchboard, although It can be up to 10m away. As the large mains cables are run through it to provide backup power, it is best close. Please can you upload a photograph of a location for the Gateway and surrounding area.
Please input the distance in meters the Gateway would be located from the switchboard. The closer the better, maximum 10m.

    Please upload a photo of your preferred location for the Powerwall. The dimensions of the Powerwall are H=1150mm, W=753mm, D=147mm Ideally, the Powerwall needs 600mm spacing around it for ventilation on all sides. If the Powerwall is backing onto a Habitable room(Lounge, Bedroom, Kitchen), then it needs to be installed on a fire proof material. such as Hardie board or concrete. This can be added if the desired wall is a combustable material. The Powerwall can be installed inside or outside. If you would prefer outside, it needs to be on a wall out of the Sun, generally East or South, or a shaded West wall.
    Please input the distance in meters the Powerwall would be located from the Gateway. The ideal location is on the same wall, or same room as the Gateway.
    Please describe what your current solar inverter setup is. Include brand, size(in kW), location and distance from the switchboard. Please confirm if the inverter is wired to the same switchboard as the Powerwall will be.

    Please describe the existing solar panels you have. Include Brand, wattage and how many you have.
